Our team manager bought two T-Shirts at Bayou Club during the Hawaiian Classic, typically held on the month of June. This Black T-Shirt was recently found in the belongings of PJL. The other T-Shirt is not yet found. Excerpts of Hawaiian Classic In June article posted at Cockfighting From All Over The World website: "From Bayou Club to Texas, I managed to drive so fast leading other motorists to navigate the highway under construction with no shoulder roads and lots of concrete barriers on both sides. And I was holding my mobile phone up my ear all the way home to Texas. I called Papa about 1 mile from Bayou to break the news. We ended our stories when I reached home in Texas. I told my Papa what I wrote above and more about the event and that I bought two t-shirts for him at the event. First is a black t-shirt with the United States’ Founding Fathers who are cockfighters. Second is the Hawaiian Classic t-shirt." To read the complete article, click here. Our team manager bought online two baseball caps at University of South Carolina Gamecocks official website. He was planning to go to Sunset, Louisiana, United States for the Sunset Recreation Club's 2006 Grit and Steel Breeders Cup. And hoping that he will have an autographed gift for his father, PJL, when he returned from the event. Grit and Steel Breeders Cup is the most prestigious and biggest cockfighting event in the world as far as our team manager is concern. Every month of March, the best 12-cock derby in the world is held. A three day event with 4-cock each day and the weapon categories are short knife and long heels (gaff). Both tan and red baseball caps have same signatures from great cockfighters; except when noted.

(read more) University of South Carolina Gamecocks The University of South Carolina's 19 varsity sports teams are known as the "Gamecocks". The unique moniker is held in honor of Thomas Sumter, a South Carolina war hero who was given the name "The Carolina Gamecock" during the American Revolution for his fierce fighting tactics, regardless of his physical stature or the size of his regiment. A British General commented that Sumter "fought like a gamecock." While the men have traditionally been the Fighting Gamecocks and the women were previously the Lady Gamecocks, this distinction was discontinued in part to help eliminate gender bias in their athletic department, and to discount the oft-held misconception that their mascot is meant to honor/promote animal bloodsport in any way. |
