Status Quo: Three Losses: Our Team Manager Sucks

5/22/2011

This is the first time in the legacy of PJL and ancestors, that our rooster quit. Not dead game. Our team manager sucks.

We, PJL Bittergame, are not even in our top shape and class nowadays since PJL demise in 2009. And our team manager chose to fight three drafts that are neither in top shape nor class - all Philippine game strain bullstags (almost).

The result is our status quo.
  1. One caught standing still when hit with deadly blow.
  2. One caught on the air with devastating blow.
  3. One quit after getting hits.

Bullstag #1: Loss - Caught Standing Still
  • This is caused by our team manager as handler not heating him up before the fight. He was so calm that he just stand there while his opponent is going forward like mad with accurate deadly blows.

Bullstag #2: Loss - Caught On The Air
  • This was caused by poor conditioning process and selection. At least he was dead game and hard trying even with his side wide open.

Bullstag #3: Loss - Quit
  • This was caused by poor conditioning and selection process. Signs are obvious but ignored. He managed to inflict deep injury and slowed down his opponent. But he quit with two major injuries - an axe-like injury on the side and another injury with the point reaching the vital organs (i.e. heart, lung) throught his rib cage under the wing. He was alive well even after getting home. He was butchered instead of stitching up his injuries.

Here's our team manager's statements.
  1. I am at fault as feeder and did not provide him with best conditioned health.
  2. I am at fault as trainer and did not provide adequate exercise to make him agile and powerful.
  3. I am at fault as selector and I did not select right.
  4. I am at fault as handler and he was caught standing even released at the closest reasonably distance - which is near the line. I did not heat him any.
  5. I am at fault as team manager as I must protect PJL legacy as cockfighter out to win always.
  6. I caused us money and prestige.
  7. I have to stop calling them drafts. They are PJL too. They represent PJL Bittergame sports team. Guess acknowledging that they are PJL too will change my easy going attitude towards them and make them better like my strictness with my PJL Bittergame.

We are now thinking what our team manager going to do to get us back in top shape just like when PJL is still with us. We miss PJL. Our current team manager sucks.

Let's keep a running score for our team manager. Currently, 0W-0D-3L.

Sigh....

Guess we can only imagine how we will perform in the upcoming BAKBAKAN 11-Stag Derby on September-December 2011. Without PJL now, our team manager will continue to suck. Hope he manages to reverse our fortune. And he stops to suck?!
